This year, we organise the XXIV State Fair of Agricultural Biodiversity (FEB), which is held together with the V Meeting of Traditional Seeds of Segura and the IV Sierra Espuña Territory Biodiversity Fair. The theme of the Fair will be: the promotion of the value of the products of the territory and associated with traditional varieties as a way of promoting sustainable and quality rural development.
The FEB is an annual meeting space for all the people and entities of the Spanish state that work to conserve and promote traditional agricultural varieties and knowledge, threatened by intensive agricultural models and the current agri-food system. A space to enjoy, make visible and claim these varieties and knowledge as natural and cultural heritage of our land, and the importance of recovering their cultivation and consumption to achieve food sovereignty in our territory.
There will be workshops, talks, debate spaces, and a market where products, projects and entities related to this subject can be published and encourage interactions and networking.
